AJ Adkinson app for iPhone and iPad

A J Adkinson & Son is a family run Funeral Directors that has been supplying a dedicated service to the communities of Oadby and surrounding areas for almost a century.

Founded in 1929 by Andrew Job Adkinson at 14 London Road Oadby, the business was developed by his only son George Frederick ‘Fred’ Adkinson until his retirement in 1979. It was at this point that that the current owner Fraser Gilbert, a Funeral Director from nearby Great Glen took on the business and carried on the high standards of personal service for which A. J. Adkinson has become renowned.

AJ Adkinson have created a mobile app to increase customer interaction in a user friendly, portable manner and to ensure their presence within current mobile technology. The app includes useful features such as: -

- A contact page with GPS maps to ensure locating the home is hassle-free
- An advice page to provide you with helpful information following a death
- My Wishes page allowing you to provide information as to how you want your funeral to be planned
- Products page for us to display and promote our products
- My Details page for you to input your personal details and send a condolence message using an original or preselected message.
- iBeacon technology, this is a new development in the funeral industry and will change how attendees send their message of condolence.
